I Believe In...

Hello Humans! As I am coming up on my one month anniversary of being an Islander on the beautiful O'ahu, I thought it would be cool to share what I believe. These are things that I hold very near to my heart and things that make up my soul. I want to also do this when I leave the Island to see how I've grown and changed while in Paradise. So, this is what I believe in.

I believe that Science can explain anything and everything, even though we may not know how until the next life. I believe that Mathematics can solve any problem, even the ones we don’t believe it will help. I believe that you should laugh everyday, especially on rainy-days. I believe that Water is the coolest molecule ever, because of all the properties it contains that makes life able to be, well, alive. I believe that Photosynthesis is the greatest chemical reaction on the earth, because it’s literally changing sun light into food. I believe in obtaining vitamin D from the sun everyday is essential. I believe that Soccer is the best sport, because it not only requires one to be fit, but it requires one to think all the time, as well. I believe that Jurassic Park is the greatest book, because of one word: Velociraptors. I believe that Yoga and Mediation is essential everyday for the communion of one’s Sprit, Body, and Mind. I believe that happiness is a state of mind and that having a “Good Vibes Only” mind-set is essential to achieving happiness. I believe in traveling and experiencing different cultures to expand one’s mind and thinking process. I believe in good friends that lift you up to make you become a better and happier person. I believe that the ocean is the place where one can find one’s self, because you then see how small you really are. I believe that light is the most mind-blowing subject on the planet, because seriously, how can a particle be both a particle and a wave? Well, a photon can (and also electrons, neutrons, protons, and pretty much every other sub-atomic particle) and it is weird, rad, and will really blow your mind. I believe in doing what you love everyday. Whether that’s watching gamers on Youtube, playing Five Nights at Freddy’s with you cousins, or surfing the waves in the ocean, just do something you love once a day. I believe that Tonyburgers has the world’s best hamburgers and that they are not over-priced. I believe in true love, and that it will eventually find all of us one day, whether we expect it or not. I believe in organic foods, because you aren’t putting harmful toxins into your body. I believe in treating my body as a temple, because I respect myself. I believe that every woman is a divine Goddess in one way or another, you just have to look for it. I believe in respecting WAHMEN. Not women, but wahmen. I believe that the best music comes from the 1960s and 1970s, because they actually had to write and play their own music. I believe that French is the most beautiful language ever spoken by mankind, because it is just so poetic and beautiful. I believe that families are essential to the Plan of Happiness and our return Home, and also a higher calling than we will ever know in this life. I believe that the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints is the one and only true gospel on this earth, and not only do I believe it, but I KNOW it from the feelings I’ve experienced. I believe that the Temple is the Lord’s House and that we can become closer to him there than we can anywhere else. I believe that my Savior, Jesus the Christ experienced both my pain and sorrow, and joy and happiness during his greatest sacrifice of the Atonement. I believe that the Garment of the Priesthood does in fact protect one from temptation when worn and treated correctly. I believe that the Book of Mormon is the truest book on the Earth and that a man can draw nearer to Christ by reading it and abiding by it’s precepts. I KNOW that my Heavenly Father and Savior live and love me.
