Why "Quiet Storm?"

Hello Humans! Welcome to the Life of a Quiet Storm. A lot of people will be asking, why the name change from the Hippie Mormon Scientist? Well, that name, while it described me quite well, just didn't fit my personality. So, after countless online personality quizzes to find a cool name, I came across one that not only sounds really cool, and is something I love, but also had the best description of my personality. Think of a beautiful clear day. It's hot and dry, and the Earth could use a refreshing rain shower to refreshen and renew. Grey clouds creep in from the corner, making the sky dark and sometimes scary. Rain pours down onto the Earth, making everything in it's path wet. There is a beautiful light show provided by the wonders of ions splitting to form lightning, and in the process, making the Earth-moving sound of thunder. And then, as soon as it begins, the storm ends. The world has changed for the better. Whether that's just making the world green again, bringing water to an area in a drought, or starting a wildfire in a forest, the storm changes the world. Like the storm, I can be intimidating and off-putting at first glance. I can be very shy and quiet around those I do not know very well. But, I also want to change the world for the better. Once you get to know me, you'll hear me roar like the thunder, and see me splitting the very atoms in our atmosphere, like the lightning. And also like a rain storm, I change the world, even if you don't even realize it. So the next time it rains, take a closer look at the world around you, and you'll see wonders of a Quiet Storm.
