Eternal Relationships
Hello Humans! Today in sacrament meeting, my new Bishop talked about how now is the time to develop “Eternal Relationships.” And to someone going to a Young Singles Adult ward at BYU-Hawaii, that seemed like he was implying marriage. He explained that he was not implying that we all get married, but to develop good relationships with those around us. Making our relationships with our friends eternal, the relationships with our bishops and ward members eternal, and our relationship with our Heavenly Father and Savior eternal. Yes, getting married is good and entering into the “New and Everlasting Covenant” of temple marriage is essential for progressing into the highest degree of Glory in the Celestial Kingdom, but for once, it was nice to hear that we don’t need to worry about marriage right now. We just need to make sure that our other relationships are good, and everything will just fall into place, eventually. So try to fix at least one of your relationships, or make one that you already have better. Stay wild, flower child.
