Welcome to My House

Hello Humans! I would like to introduce you to the newest Chemistry Tutor and Bio-Chemistry Researcher. Holy cow. I am so lucky that I found these two jobs. I am also so lucky that I am able to work as an undergrad in the same setting as where I hope to work one day. And I am so excited to start! I get to tutor the General Chemistry Lecture and Lab here at BYU-H, and research along with the other professors. I am so lucky to go to a school that really wants students to succeed, especially ones who are really enthusiastic. I can’t wait to help struggling students get things to click in their head. And, I get paid to go to class! I get to attend the General Chemistry Lecture, which means I get to review the most basic and fundamental concepts of Chemistry. The ones that everything else builds off of. And I get to do it for free. Actually, I get paid for it. I truly am so lucky and can’t believe that I get to do exactly what I love to do and want to do when I graduate.

“Every kid starts out as a Natural-Born Scientist, and then we beat it out of them. Few trickle through the system with their wonder and enthusiasm, for Science intact.” –Carl Sagan.

So, watch out world, I’m coming through. Welcome to my house. The house that some call madness and insanity for we question everything and anything, and others call wonder and the future, for we build and evolve the tools you use everyday. My house is the house of Math and Science.

Stay wild, flower child.
