Two Worlds, One Family
Hello Humans! Wow. It’s been over a month since I last saw my family. I love and miss them so much. The thing that gets me through the days where I miss them the most is the simple truth that we are an Eternal Family, and that means that we will get to be together forever. This also means that this small time that I am away from them, will be just a small dot on the timeline of eternity. I just had to thank them for all that they’ve done to make me who I am today.
Thank you Taste Bro for your funny comments and always putting a smile on my face. Every time I say “Go For It” I can’t help to think of a Gopher, because you put that image in my head. I miss staying up until odd hours of the night playing Lego games with you, and raging at Lego Batman 2, and laughing at MatPat and Steph.
Thank you Slendy for your big heart. You love unconditionally and forgive many people. I also love discussing our “murder” plans and the time spent together on the soccer field and working at Tonyburgers. I miss our “sister bonding time” when we would tell Mom and Dad that just so that we didn’t have to spend more time looking at furniture and interior design stores while on vacation.
Thank you Popsicle for providing for me, pushing me, and making me laugh. I don’ t think any other dad would joke about their age, deafness, and un-smartness. I also loved that during Senior Year of High School Soccer, you didn’t let me quit, no matter how awful it was sitting on the sideline during every game, while still having to waste the time at practice. Also, thanks for going to work every day for me and the rest of the family so that we can live a good life, and so that I can have a college education.
Thank you Mommy for raising me. Thank you for your endless love and charity towards me. I always think of you when I see my smiling shark sitting on my bed, and my Jurassic Park book, because you knew exactly what to get me to cheer me up: A good Sci-Fi novel, and a cuddle-buddy. Thanks for setting a great example of what a Mom should be, both a teacher and a friend. I really miss your home-cooked meals, but have loved to see our friendship develop even more as I get to call you every day.
And even though we are in two worlds separated by an ocean and a 6-hour plane flight, we are still one eternal family. Stay wild, flower child.
