Venus and Mars Are Alright Tonight

Hello Humans! "Standing in the halls of the great cathedral, waiting for the transport to come. Starship 21ZNA9. A good friend of mine studies the stars. Venus and Mars are alright tonight. Come away on a strange vacation, holiday hardly begun. Run in to a good friend of mine who showed me a sign. Reach for the stars, Venus and Mars are alright tonight." -Paul McCartney and Wings, Venus and Mars, Venus and Mars (Reprise).

SURPRISE!! Aliens exist. Ok, well, I guess they're not so much as aliens as they are humans living on a planet very far away. My religion teacher told us this, because we are literally told that in the scriptures. The scriptures teach us that Jesus had to be born on a planet that was wicked enough to crucify him. So yay! Congratulations! If you are a human living on the planet Earth, you were put on the most wicked planet out of all of the planets God created. I'll just give you a minute to let that statement sink in.... You done? Ok good. So, now we know that aliens exist, and we are also the only planet that debates whether other life forms, or humans in outer space, are possible. Well, guess what, the God's other planets that have humans living on them know that we exist, because how else would they know about Jesus Christ and his infinite atonement?

I've been thinking a lot about deep space lately, because of Doctor Who, and MatPat's Game Theory on a Pokemon who can't control a blackhole, and because the sky here on the Island is so clear. There is pretty much no light pollution, so you can see stars for miles and miles and miles.

I've been thinking that maybe we will make contact with them before the Second Coming. How cool would that be? To be able to share science, technology, and the gospel with other worlds? It would be so cool. Knowing God, they are probably millions of light years away. Like at the edge of our known Universe far away, because He wants to test us, as per usual.

So for me, I'll continue to look up at the sky and wonder about our humanoid cousins in space, waiting for Starship 21ZNA9 to come pick me up and take me away to learn about their advanced science, technology, and the gospel.

"Sitting in the stands of the sports arena, waiting for the show to begin. Red lights, green light, strawberry wine. A good friend of mine follows the stars. Venus and Mars are alright tonight." -Paul McCartney and Wings, Venus and Mars, Venus and Mars.

I believe, do you? Stay wild, flower child.
